Erica Benedick manages the Negotiation Workshop, the most popular course at Harvard Law School. She came to PON after working with MIT’s Alumni Association where she helped plan and execute their reunion program.
Robert Bosso

Robert Bosso has provided financial and technical support to the Program on Negotiation since March 2001. Prior to joining PON, he was a laboratory technician in Wesleyan University's Molecular Biology and Biochemistry Department. He is a graduate of Eastern Connecticut State University, with a B.S. in Biology. Rob is interested in how technology and conflict-resolution techniques can be used to address various environmental issues.

Franc Graham

Franc Graham joined PON in 2004, bringing with her a background of operations, management and graphic design. Originally from Pennsylvania, she came to Boston to study the arts and went on to establish a freelance illustration and design business. Franc worked for a decade with the late John O’Cononr, an environmental activist, author and congressional candidate. She also has a band and has opened for such acts as Lucinda Williams, Odetta and NRBQ, and she can be heard on Sesame Street animation shorts.

Michael Graskemper joined PON in July 2007 and is concurrently the Program Administrator for the Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Islamic Studies Program at Harvard University. He received his B.A. in Theology from Xavier University, Cincinnati, Ohio, with foci in Holocaust Studies, Peace Studies and History, and recently completed his M.A. in Religious Studies at John Carroll University, Cleveland, Ohio, with a thesis on Islamic Mysticism. Michael is interested in the history of negotiation and conflict-resolution in the Islamic tradition and its applications for inter-religious and international cooperation today.

Nancy Waters

As managing editor, Nancy manages the Journal’s blind review process and edits all accepted articles to meet the Journal’s editorial standards. Nancy was previously the publications and outreach director at the Radcliffe Public Policy Center at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study. There, she edited, designed, and produced the Center’s newsletter, publications, and promotional materials. She also directed the Center’s dissemination and publicity efforts and managed its media relations efforts. She has also been a free-lance writer and editor, a grant writer, and a writing instructor. She holds a B.A. in history from Brown University and a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri.

Sarah joins PON after working as a researcher at Facing History and Ourselves and The Center for the Study of Religion and Psychology at The Danielsen Institute at Boston University (BU). She received her B.A. from BU with a double major in Religion and Psychology, and recently completed a M.A. in Religion and Society at BU with a focus on interfaith peacebuilding. Sarah is interested in how sociological and psychological theory can contribute to our understanding of the relationship between religion and conflict.

A former high school social sciences teacher in Toronto, Sarah Woodside has worked at PON since 2004 and has also lived and worked in Southern Africa, Switzerland and New York City. Sarah has co-developed and co-taught a graduate seminar on women and conflict, co-authored two recent articles on conflict resolution, and conducted research on the conflict resolution skills of high school students. She is also a mediator in the district court system, taught negotiation and conflict resolution skills to inner city youth, and spent a year as a disarmament intern at several international organizations. She holds a B.A. from McGill in Middle East Studies and Political Science, a B.Ed. from the University of Toronto, and an M.A. from the University of Massachusetts Boston in Dispute Resolution.
Kim Wright

Kim Wright has been at PON since 2003 and previously worked in the environmental field, including the US Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works, The Nature Conservancy, and the Office of Marine Programs at the URI Graduate School of Oceanography. She attended graduate school at the University of Rhode Island and received her B.A. in political science from Assumption College. She is currently working on completing her masters thesis in marine affairs.
