Accommodations: Hotels - Please note this information is ONLY for 2008 PIL workshops.

PIL participants make their own living arrangements while attending PIL. Most of these hotels are within walking distance of the Law School campus. Participants must refer to the hotel codes listed in order to be sure to receive the room discount. We strongly recommend making reservations as early as possible, as space is limited and hotel space sells out quickly in the Harvard Square area. The PIL office does not make hotel reservations for participants.

The Charles Hotel

The Charles Hotel was just awarded the "Best Hotel in Boston" from Boston Magazine and The Improper Bostonian, The Charles Hotel offers 249 spacious guest rooms and 44 suites, each furnished with classic Shaker-style furniture, signature quilt duvets, down comforters, luxurious bedding, terry cloth robes, and unique bath and aromatherapy products. For your added comfort, all rooms are equipped with a fully stocked refreshment center, Bose Wave radio, closet safe, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. The Charles provides a variety of special services with you in mind. The Inn at Harvard

The Inn at Harvard is Harvard's own luxury boutique hotel located by the campus of the university. A five-minute walk across historic Harvard Yard brings you to the Law School. Guests of The Inn enjoy four-star dining, valet parking, complimentary internet access, and exclusive dining privileges at the Harvard Faculty Club. The recent multi-million dollar design renovation has outfitted the guestrooms with plush linens, beautiful appointments and original lithographs on loan from Harvard's Fogg Museum of Art.

The Harvard Square Hotel

Sheraton Commander Hotel

On the Cambridge Common across from the Law School, the hotel offers renovated accommodations and a new fitness room. The Sheraton has provided convenient and comfortable accommodations for PIL participants for over 20 years. Walking distance to Harvard Law School.

Boston Reservations/Boston Bed & Breakfast, Inc.

Boston Reservations provides accommodations for professionals attending Harvard courses, conferences and seminars as well as other visitors to Boston. They are able to offer favorable rates at major hotels in Boston and Cambridge, as well as secure rooms in private clubs, small inns and Bed and Breakfasts in private homes. This service has received high recommendations from former PIL students.
