Open to the public. Attendees should bring their own lunches; drinks and dessert will be provided.

Those attending should read, in advance, Professor Kelman's Experiences from 30 Years of Action Research on the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict, a 23-page essay. Click here to download.

For more than 30 years, Harvard University scholar Herbert C. Kelman has been working with Israelis and Palestinians to build peace in the Middle East. Professor Kelman's "action research" projects have focused on interactive problem solving as an approach to this most difficult of all conflicts. Professor Kelman will take questions regarding the Middle East peace process as well as the state of current negotiations and prospects for peace.

Herbert C. Kelman is the Richard Clarke Cabot Research Professor of Social Ethics at Harvard University and the author of numerous books and papers on social psychology, international affairs, "unofficial" diplomacy, joint problem-solving workshops, and other topics of interest. He is the director of the Program on International Conflict Analysis and Resolution (PICAR), based at Harvard's Weatherhead Center for International Affairs.
