Daniel Shapiro's article featured in the October 2006 O: The Oprah Magazine

Check out Dan Shapiro's contribution to the October 2006 issue of O: The Oprah Magazine. His article, Before Your Next Fight, Read This, describes how he applied the ideas in his bestseller, Beyond Reason: Using Emotions as You Negotiate, to resolve a tough conflict with his wife. Beyond Reason, by Roger Fisher and Dan Shapiro, has just been released in paperback by Penguin.

Dan is the director of the Harvard International Negotiation Initiative (INI) and associate director of the Harvard Negotiation Project(HNP). He is on the faculty at Harvard Law School and in the Psychiatry Department at Harvard Medical School.
