Join the Program on Negotiation for an in-depth discussion on the growing tensions between the U.S. and Iran and possible strategies for negotiation.

Robert Mnookin is the Samuel Williston Professor of Law at Harvard Law School, the Chair of the Executive Committee of the Program on Negotiation, and the Director of the Harvard Negotiation Research Project. A leading scholar in the field of conflict resolution, Professor Mnookin has applied his interdisciplinary approach to negotiation and conflict resolution to a remarkable range of problems, both public and private.

James K. Sebenius is the Gordon Donaldson Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School, a member of the PON Executive Committee, and the director of the Negotiation Roundtable. Professor Sebenius also provides negotiation advisory services to corporations and governments worldwide.

Barbara Slavin has been senior diplomatic reporter for USA TODAY since 1996, responsible for analyzing foreign news and U.S. foreign policy. She has covered the war in Iraq, policy toward “rogue” states, and the Arab-Israeli conflict. She was the first U.S. newspaper reporter to interview President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in Iran. She is the author of the recently published book, Bitter Friends, Bosom Enemies, on the American-Iranian relationship.
