Russia Negotiation Project
(a Harvard Negotiation Project initiative)
Director: Bruce Allyn
The purpose of the Russia Negotiation Initiative is to develop innovative approaches to further U.S.-Russia dialogue and support negotiation of concrete agreements that serve shared interests. The Project applies insights and tools to help overcome partisan perceptions, reveal shared interests and mobilize “Third Side” mediation efforts. The Project is engaged in developing negotiation and mediation training courses jointly offered by American and Russian faculty.
As an important step to develop a shared knowledge base, Project Director Bruce Allyn served as Senior Creative Producer of the multi-media web-based resource supported by the Carnegie Corporation of New York, “U.S.-Russia Relations: Quest for Stability.” To see the introduction featuring interviews with top US and Russian officials and experts, click here.

The project works in collaboration with Russian partners at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), the Russian Diplomatic Academy, the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) and other leading training centers.
