Dan Green is an expert in the fields of negotiation, effective communication, team effectiveness and conflict management, acting at times as consultant, facilitator, mediator and executive coach. As a Program on Negotiation faculty member, he teaches the PON Seminar on Mediation and Conflict Management.
He has been invited to advise on and mediate an array of international disputes including: working with guerrilla leaders during the 2008 peace process in Colombia; co-mediating a decades-long $135 million debt dispute between a South American country and a European logistics company; advising political opposition leaders on negotiations over the release of political prisoners in Central America; and successfully co-facilitating a negotiation between government and opposition leaders in Venezuela on the entry of international aid during an economic crisis.
In addition to teaching, he is a Partner at Insight Partners, a global leadership advisory firm that helps companies, governments, and individuals negotiate and communicate more effectively.
